Since we last spoke to Johannes le Roux, founder of the alcohol-free drinks company, The Duchess, it has received investment from Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) as well as AB InBev’s corporate venture capital arm ZX Ventures.
During this time The Duchess also expanded its range to include alcohol-free wine spritzers.
The Duchess is now available in seven countries including South Africa, The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia and the UK.
In this episode Johannes shares how he ended up in New York pitching his business to ABInBev board, including the all powerful Chairman, Carlos Brito.
