Aslina Wines by Ntsiki Biyela

In today’s show we talk to Ntsiki Biyela. Ntsiki Biyela grew up in Mahlabathini, a small rural village in northern KwaZulu-Natal, not far from where I grew up on the edge of the Pongola River on the northern border of KwaZulu-Natal. Ntsiki was awarded an SAA scholarship to study at Stellenbosch University. Ntsiki shares her journey of studying at an Afrikaans university, to become the first black female wine maker in South Africa.
